I don’t know about you, but one winter morning I just wanted to have lunch. Morning smoothies are a big part of my day, but when the temperatures drop below Sam Elliott’s rustic voice, I’m in no mood to crush all that ice, let alone drink it. If only there was a way to get my morning smoothie without turning my lips into wobbly ice packs. Ladies and gentlemen, I present you the delicious hot shake that will turn your morning into radiant happiness.
Easy to use guide
- 15 g dark chocolate
- 200 ml milk (the type you choose, although I highly recommend almond milk)
- 20 g of oats (they cook more easily)
- 1/2 ripe banana
- 6 almonds
- 5g chia seeds (don’t skip them, they’re super healthy!)
- 20 ml of cold water
1.) Pour your milk into a glass measuring cup and add the broken chocolate pieces. Next, cook in the microwave until the chocolate has melted and the mixture is liquid.
2.) Put oatmeal, bananas, almonds, chia seeds and cold water in the blender. Then add your milk and chocolate mixture to the picture (poetry at its finest) and turn the baby on!
3.) Let this flexure run until you see that all the elements have blended smoothly.
4.) You can microwave your hot smoothie if it’s not hot enough for your taste. Just be careful not to pour anything too hot into the blender. Not all blenders can handle the miracle of your hot smoothie!
Spice It Up!
Okay, we’re not all foodies, but if you’re looking for a nice photo for your Instagram account, sprinkle ground oatmeal flour on your hot smoothie. If you’re looking for a flavor that will make you stand out from the crowd, add a dash of chili flakes. Trust me you will skip the morning caffeine fix afterwards! If you’re just looking for a little flavor addition, sprinkle a teaspoon of cinnamon on top.
Breakfast is the first, basic, and most important meal of the day. So be sure to eat it! Folks, we’re talking about chocolate for breakfast, no one should complain! Come on let’s have the hot smoothie breakfast.
